Lehigh University is hosting a conference to honor the memory and explore the ideas of one of the most illustrious members of its community. Don Campbell (1916-1996) combined an extraordinary intellect with a wonderful personality. His work exerted a major influence on a wide range of fields, with an integrating theme of questions concerning how we can know and learn about our world. We will be celebrating his life and legacy with talks from former students, friends, and colleagues.Confirmed speakers at this point include: Gordon Bearn, Mark Bickhard, Marilynn Brewer, David Hamilton, Cecilia Heyes, Alex Levine, William Wimsatt. We hope you can join us.There is no registration fee, but registration is required so that we can plan facilities and services. Some meals will be included with registration, and reduced rates for overnight accommodations will be arranged with the Comfort Suites on the edge of Lehigh's campus.
